Collaboration with City Club Fashion Forum

The FashioNXT inspired City Club of Portland Forum (May 2) brought fashion insiders from Portland and New York City together to explore the challenges of Portland’s growing and promising fashion industry. This creative edge sets Portland apart from other cities. If nurtured it could create jobs among the hundreds of small businesses that are Portland fashion. City Club Executive Director Sam Adams called the forum “amazing”. If you were not in the crowd at the Sentinel Hotel, watch the OPB video. American fashion designer Michael Costello dressed Beyonce at the 56th annual Grammy Awards. She looked stunning in a sheer and lace white gown and topped the list as Best Dressed. Famed stylist Ty Hunter was the mastermind behind Beyonce's much talked about look. It was certainly a memorable moment.

They include Francis Libiran, whose fame recently rode to new height for designing the winning gown for Miss World 2013.

Project Runway winner Michelle Lesniak demonstrates LIVE how a smart eyewear looks and functions, as she wears an origininal smart glass prototype by Japanese tech company BRILLIANTSERVICE Co. on the runway.
